Kathy Wulf, the hands-on owner of Green Leaf Gardens, is a self-proclaimed perfectionist. “I do not leave a job until I am satisfied, and by that point, the client is pleased, too”. She takes great pride in making the landscaping experience enjoyable for herself, her clients and her employees. She has been beautifying this world, one landscape at a time, for the past eight years after she received her B.S in Horticulture from Virginia Tech. Other than gardening and learning about gardening, her hobbies include cooking, caring for and riding her horse and being active outdoors.
Nancy Cecere-LeBlanc, the red-headed powerhouse of this operation, likes working in messy yards best. “It’s great to be able to see such a difference when the job is done”. Her energy and enthusiasm is needed to tackle the difficult physical jobs, while her artistic training is helpful when making decisions on plant installations. Her three teenaged children, husband and many animals keep her moving, along with her decorative wall painting business and animal shelter volunteering.
Jessie Stretch, the comic relief and strong back of the operation, sees a pile of mulch as a challenge, not an obstacle. “Installations are the most fun, I never know what to expect from each day of work”. Music, playing in bands, writing, and martial arts are Jessie’s interests outside of building landscapes.
Richard Wulf, financial officer and handyman of Green Leaf Gardens, has always enjoyed crunching numbers. “It’s exciting to watch the growth and success of this company”. He fills his days with assisting his wife with her talent agency business, volunteer work, home maintenance and changing the world one political statement at a time.
